Task:
Create a series of videos promoting responsible mountaineering behavior in the Alps.

Solution:
“Great things are done when men and mountains meet.” That old saying perfectly sums up the journey behind this project. Our mission was to teach a massive, diverse audience the basics of responsible behaviour in the Alps. However, safety guidelines can easily feel dry. To get people to actually care, we needed a visual language that was instant, universal, and highly engaging.
We leaned into the nostalgia of classic guidebooks, manuals, and trail maps, blending a natural color palette with clean, crisp linework. The result is a familiar, relaxing world that lowers the viewer’s guard while making important messages pop.

Modeled after the mesmerizing landscapes of the Alps, the environments are packed with tiny details waiting to be discovered. For the cast, we designed quirky, relatable characters that can easily spark funny, teachable moments. And the pace of the animation? Well, for that one we took cue from the daily rhythm of nature.

In order to highlight how even a small mistake can have a major impact, every video starts with the big picture before zeroing in on a specific bad habit. It’s a gentle, humorous reminder that keeping the mountains beautiful is up to all of us.
